E-signature questions

Does the signer need a DocuFlow account?

No. Each signer receives a unique, secure link by email and signs in the browser on a computer, tablet or phone.

Can several people sign the same document?

Yes. Add as many signers as you need. You can send to all of them at once or set a signing order so each person is notified in turn.

What proof do I get that a document was signed?

DocuFlow produces an audit trail certificate PDF showing each signer's name, email, IP address, timestamp and signature image.

Are electronic signatures recognised in Sri Lanka?

Sri Lanka's Electronic Transactions Act, No. 19 of 2006, gives legal recognition to electronic records and electronic signatures. Some documents have special legal formalities, so check with your legal adviser for those.
